Frequently Asked Questions

About Alula

What is Alula?

Alula is a daily drink mix in single-serve stick packs, made for people taking GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. One stick combines electrolytes, a full vitamin and mineral panel, HMB, collagen peptides, prebiotic fiber, a probiotic, and ginger, so you can cover several daily needs in one step instead of buying separate supplements.*

Is Alula a GLP-1 medication?

No. Alula is a dietary supplement. It does not contain any GLP-1 medication, it does not act like one, and it is not a substitute for any medication your provider prescribes.

Who is Alula for?

Alula is designed for adults on GLP-1 medications who are eating less than they used to and want simple daily support for hydration, nutrient intake, digestion, muscle, and hair and skin.* It can also suit adults who are eating less for other reasons.

Who developed Alula?

Alula was developed with Dr. Joshua Trachtenberg, Ph.D., a neurobiologist at UCLA who serves as Alula's medical advisor.

Can I take Alula with my GLP-1 medication?

Alula is made to be taken alongside GLP-1 medications, but check with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, especially if you take other medications, have kidney or heart conditions, or have been told to limit sodium or potassium.

Can I take more than one stick a day?

Alula is designed as one stick per day. Talk with your healthcare provider before taking more.
